Verdict
How on earth am I supposed to review something as simple as this, a small device which does eggsactly (see what I did there?) what is says on the box?
The “Eddingtons Egg Cuber”, does exactly that, it cubes eggs. It's *very* easy to use too, there is no setup, you just pop in round eggs and take out square ones.
So why would anyone want to have square eggs? Well there are many reasons:
Imagine that you’re living on a ship and those awkward round eggs keep rolling about your plate are proving to be a pain, then square, cube shaped eggs are probably right up your street (or lake, or canal, or whatever).
First, imagine that you’re living on a ship and those awkward round eggs keep rolling about your plate are proving to be a pain, then square, cube shaped eggs are probably right up your street (or lake, or canal, or whatever).
Secondly, square eggs are great if you, like me, are fed up of having to find ways to make your eggs fill the corners of your egg sandwich. With square, cube shaped eggs, filling up the corners of your sandwich is simple.
Thirdly, you can make little buildings and designs with them and stack them up. Imagine trying to make a model of your house with only round eggs. Ok, this last one is a bit of a push, but I’m struggling to reach 300 words.
Seriously though, now that I have the egg cuber, I don’t know how I managed to put up with boring round eggs for so long.
I bet, right now, you’re asking how on earth does the Eddingtons Egg Cuber turn perfectly roundish eggs into cubes? Well, it’s quite simple. The device is basically a mold into which you place a shelled boiled egg. A little while later and you have a cubed egg ready to serve.
Cubed eggs also make salads a little more interesting and different. Let’s be honest here, we’re all bored of those tired old round eggs. Cubed eggs are so much more interesting; they will probably make you more popular too and get you invited to more parties (as long as you bring cubed eggs of course).
