TePe Intertendal Brushes have recently become the coolest way to look after your teeth, unlike many other trends though TePe brushes are actually far more than the latest fab, they really work.

TePe brushes were developed with the support of dental professionals in Sweden and from throughout the world and are probably the most effective and comfortable way of cleaning in between your teeth. The ergonomic brush handle was developed to give a comfortable and firm grip when being used. The brushes are made from high grade filaments and are selected for their cleaning and durability properties. All TePe interdental brush sizes have plastic coated wire allowing for gentle and safe cleaning.

So those are the technical facts about TePe Interdental Brushes, but what do they actually do? Well, far more than I or anyone I know who has used them expected actually. Let me make this live for you, I'm now 42 years old and at my last dental check-up, a couple of weeks ago, my oral hygenist told me that my teeth and gums, are in the *best* condition she has ever seen them in. And all because I took her advice and started using TePe Interdental Brushes about six months ago.

I'll be honest, I feel like I've become a little bit of a TePe evangelist and I sound like one of those cheesy sales people on an "infomercial"; it's just that these tiny little brushes really are that good. The thing is, I thought I was doing a fairly good job with my dental and oral hygiene; I have brush with a good electric tooth brush every day, I use a good quality tooth paste, I rinse with a an anti-plaque mouth wash etc. But I would still need quite a bit of cleaning done by the hygienist every six months or so. The truth is, even the best electric tooth brushes simply cannot get right between your teeth, they are simple not able to, no matter what the fancy computer graphics in the adverts seems to imply.

There was one big thing which *instantly* convinced me to start using TePe Interdental Brushes regularly. My dentist gave me a free sample pack to try and I reluctantly did (to be honest I hated the idea of using them; it seemed too much like flossing, and to me flossing is like chewing cotton wool or scraping your nails down a blackboard. So, about a week after my dentist gave me the sample pack, and they sat in my bathroom staring at me I decided to try to use them. I gave my teeth a thorough 2 minute clean as the little display with my brush recommends, then pulled a 0.6mm TePe brush from the packet and started to carefully brush right between my teeth, through the little gaps.

It felt really strange at first, feeling the tiny brush go all the way through, but also kinda tingly. I worked my way the both rows of teeth, the brush easily flexible enough to reach the back teeth too, but from the inside out. Finally, I rinsed.

I was stunned!

Even though I had just brushed thoroughly with a very expensive electric tooth brush, there were still loads of tiny bits of food in left in my mouth which the TePe easily had dislodged. Gross, and also a little worrying that that would have probably been there, missed by my tooth brush until the the next time my oral hygienist performed a full clean.

Needless to say, I have been using these brushes ever since :)

We recommend you start with a variety pack to find out which sizes work for you, then order a pack or the best size for you (Blue, Pink and Yellow seem to be the most popular sizes).
