My personal use of this razor began about a month ago. I had a different razor that lasted me about six months before it broke. The razor made a terrible gurgling noise and died one day while I was shaving. I purchased the electric shaver and brought it home. The package was fairly easy to open. I plugged in the razor and waited for it to charge. Once I charged it I turned it on. The sound was a little louder than I expected but not that bad. I attempted to shave my face and was unexpectedly surprised because I found that this Braun was much better than my last razor. With my previous machine I would get cuts and nicks all the time, with the new razor I could smoothly shave my face with no complications. I did not get a rash from using this shaver, and I have never gotten one since I started using it. That is a huge plus for me since I have very sensitive skin and I often get irritated when shaving with other products.

Taking the Braun apart to clean was not a difficult process. I also liked the self cleaning features that came with the razor. It made things much less messy than my normal razor situation. I liked this razor better than my old ones, and much better than any straight edged razor I had tried in the past. It actually felt like I had my shave done at a Barber shop. I ended buying a second razor for my 20 year old son, and he has been recommending it to his friends ever since.

The con that I could find is that this razor is very loud and the noise bothers my wife when I am shaving with my Braun Shaver. She and I both agree however, that the smooth skin that is a result of the shaver is well worth it. I also thought the price was a bit too expensive for my taste; however, I really wanted a shaver that I would not have to replace time and time again. It gets expensive and is a hassle when you have to keep going to the store to replace a cheap razor.
