Canon Powershot A1200 Review
Superior photographs at half the price of the rivals.
Canon are well known for providing terrific "point and shoot" simplicity and the Canon Powershot A1200 more than satisfies. It has a 12 megapixel sensor combined with compact 4x optical zoom lens.
In addition, the Powershot A1200 comes with a number of unique and useful features that are not available on other cameras at this price point. The most notable are the optical viewfinder and the very welcom use of standard AA batteries, the latter in particular makes the Powershot A1200 a terrific holiday camera.
The Canon Powershot A1200 is available in either black or silver colours, we reviewed the black model.
If exceptional value for money is what you're looking for in your next digital camera then the Powershot A1200 is almost certainly the camera for you. In a nutshell, the A1200 produces superior photographs at half the price of the rivals.
What you'll like

What you might not like
Shutter can seem a little sluggish, but it probably won't be a deal breaker.
