Sony Reader PRS-600 6 inch Touch E-Reader

When I first heard about E-Readers after they were launched, I have to admit I was a little uncomfortable and a little unconvinced that they could replace the look and feel of a ‘real’ good book. As a long term member of a book forum I was noticing more and more of my online fellow book fanatics were slowly making the switch from physical paper books to these E-Readers.
It has taken me a while to catch up, but after some time my initial fears of replacing a classic novel with an electronic version have now been put to one side thanks to the Sony Reader PRS-600 6 inch Touch E-Reader.
As my very first E-Reader I have to admit that so far I’m suitably impressed. This little gem is beautifully made. Sleek, modern and lightweight; perfect for taking anywhere and everywhere without being too intrusive or heavy to carry.
Capable of holding up to 350 books, you can carry your entire library in your bag and take it with you wherever you go. The battery life on the Sony E-Reader is phenomenal, and that was one of the major selling points for me. You don’t have to recharge until you have made approximately 7,500 page turns, which translates into roughly 30 complete books!
It’s more than ample six inch touch screen is impressively clear and the text appears as it would in a book, making the reading experience feel that little bit more authentic.
The Sony Reader PRS-600 6 inch Touch E-Reader is perfect for those who have not experienced the functionality of an electronic book before. The touch screen technology makes is simple to use and navigate and the built in dictionary is an added bonus feature that many other similar E-Readers simply do not have.
I’ve had my Sony E-Reader for a little over a month now, and yes, I admit I have been converted. The Sony E-Reader is just too convenient and compact to dislike. It is my new favourite toy.
